Contactless smart card solutions specialist Integrated Engineering has launched a full DESFire development suite for OEM customers.
Contactless smart card solutions specialist Integrated Engineering has launched a full DESFire development suite for OEM customers.
In order to provide the market with an adequate solution to implement DESFire card technology into their solutions, Integrated Engineering has extended its ISO14443 level 4 A and B kits with a full DESFire development suite for its OEM customers.
The suite is available together with an easy to integrated API/SDK and sample software routines, which will strongly reduce time to market for customers.
"With releasing the specifications for PIV (personal identity verification), the new Common Access Card standards, we recognised the need for an easy migration path for our customers", said JP Hulsker, Managing Director of Integrated Engineering, "and we decided to take the lead in providing the market with the necessary tools to implement DESFire easily".
Other development areas for the ISO14443 level 4 A and B kits provide easy integration for e-passport and MasterCard, Visa applications.
