Edited by the Electronicstalk editorial team Sep 1, 2005

At ASIS in Orlando, Florida, Integrated Engineering will be showing the state of the art in contactless smart card technology such as the e-passport.

Integrated Engineering, a Dutch developer and manufacturer of high quality products that provides contactless smart card solutions, will participate at the ASIS International Seminar and Exhibits Exhibit 2005, one of America's largest and most attended security events.

This prominent international trade show for the security business takes place from 12th to 14th September 2005 in Orlando, Florida, USA.

Integrated Engineering will be present at Booth 867.

At ASIS, Integrated Engineering will be showing the state of the art in contactless smart card technology such as the e-passport.

During ASIS, Integrated Engineering will introduce the e-Document reader including anti-eavesdropping functionality and integrated MRZ optical reading.

This comprehensive device prevents 3rd parties from invading the privacy sensitive information contained on a e-passport.

The solution provides the ability for a single reading operation for the optical and for the RFID information for all current passport chips and operating systems, even when the passport is equipped with shielding.

To meet the market demands, Integrated Engineering adds a new family of Legic Advance readers to its product line.

The first readers of this family are the card-only reader and the combined card + PIN reader.

Later this year Integrated Engineering will expand this product family with the Legic SmartTouch, a combined card and biometrics fingerprint reader.

The introduction of this new Legic Advance family is during ASIS 2005.

Integrated Engineering will also showcase the latest DESFire GSC V2.1 compliant readers that are NASA tested and fully compliant with the Medium Security Profile of GSC-IS 2.1/PACS (TIG) and FIPS 201, for use in Federal Government physical access control (CAC/PIV) applications.

Integrated Engineering's latest developments, products and solutions in the field of ISO14443 also include high-speed Desktop readers (USB 2.0) that support both PC/SC and CCID read/write modes.

Integrated Engineering's readers include a patented Flash feature allowing readers to be reprogrammed in the field and read the full ISO14443 line, including Mifare A and B, DESFire, ProX and SmartMX technology.
