At ISC West 2006 Integrated Engineering will demonstrate state-of-the-art in contactless smart card technology including physical and logical access control and e-passport technology.

Integrated Engineering is taking part in ISC West 2006, one of the USA's largest and best attended security events This prominent international trade show for the security business takes place from 5th to 7th April 2006 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

Integrated Engineering will be present on Booth 19133.

At ISC West, Integrated Engineering will be showing the state-of-the-art in contactless smart card technology including physical and logical access control and e-passport technology.

During ISC West, Integrated Engineering will introduce the SmartTrans reader.

This is a dual technology ISO14443 and 125kHz Prox reader.

The SmartTrans provides a transition path from existing proprietary legacy 125kHz Prox technologies to open standards ISO14443 technologies.

The reader combines ISO14443 technologies, such as Mifare, DESFire and PIV, and 125kHz prox technologies in one reader.

The reader provides flexible configurable output formats and output protocols.

The SmartTrans accepts a wide range power supply voltage from 4.5 to 16V DC.

To meet the market demands, Integrated Engineering is adding a new family of Legic Advance readers to its product line.

The first readers of this family are the card-only reader and the combined card and PIN reader.

Later this year Integrated Engineering will expand this product family with the Legic SmartTouch, a combined card and biometric fingerprint reader.

The introduction of this new Legic Advance family is during ISC West 2006.

Integrated Engineering will also showcase the latest 125kHz readers and back lighted PIN pad readers.

Integrated Engineering's latest developments, products and solutions in the field of ISO14443 include high-speed desktop readers (USB 2.0) that support both PCSC and CCID read/write modes.

Integrated Engineering's readers include a technique to Flash program readers in the field to read the full ISO14443 line, including Mifare A and B, DESFire, ProX and SmartMX technology.
