Integrated Engineering has developed an anti-eavesdropping chip reader for preventing the possibility of eavesdropping on privacy sensitive information contained on a passport.
The SmartTrans provides a transition path from the existing proprietary legacy 125kHz ProX technology to open standards ISO14443 technologies.
The reader combines ISO14443 technologies, such as Mifare, DESFire and PIV2, and 125kHz ProX technologies in one reader.
Integrated Engineering will also show its new family of Legic Advance readers.
The first readers of this family are the card-only reader and the combined card plus PIN reader, to meet the market demands.
Integrated Engineering's latest developments, products and solutions in the field of ISO14443 include high-speed desktop readers (USB 2.0) that support both PCSC and CCID read/write modes.
The readers include a technique to Flash program readers in the field to read the full ISO14443 line, including Mifare A and B, DESFire, ProX and SmartMX technology.
