The ConnectUPS-BD Web/SNMP adapter from Invensys Powerware allows users to monitor and manage the Powerware 9120 UPS from practically any computer in a given network via a web browser.

The ConnectUPS-BD Web/SNMP adapter from Invensys Powerware allows users to monitor and manage the Powerware 9120 UPS from practically any computer in a given network via web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer Inherent features of the ConnectUPS-BD Web/SNMP include support for both a SNMP protocol in an enterprise environment and http for web based management

It has the ability to act as a shutdown controller for all protected computers and simply fits into its tailor-made slot on the 9120 unit.

There are no complications with the ConnectUPS-BD Web/SNMP adapter it is easy to install and easy to use, requiring no dedicated computer or software management.

The web interface gives users a familiar look and feel and there is online help for every page.

Other features include: a shutdown configuration allowing a UPS to be turned off remotely; the ability to shutdown all powered computers; load segment support to allow individual timings and setting for each separate group of units being protected, enabling shutdown of least important units first and keeping most important running longer; and scheduling of daily shutdowns and power-ups.
