Open day explains laser marking
Visitors to IPTE's first open laser day in Genk (Belgium) were given a thorough introduction to the company's capabilities in the field of laser marking.
Earlier this month IPTE, the market leader in the supply of production equipment for the electronics industry, held its first open laser day at its headquarters in Genk (Belgium).
The invited customers were given a thorough introduction to the company's capabilities in the field of laser marking as well as hearing additional and specialised information from partner companies.
Presentations included: principles and applications for CO2 and Nd:Yag lasers; principles and applications in 1D and data-matrix codes; verification of marking codes; and the importance of fume and particle extraction for laser marking.
After the in-depth presentations the participants had the opportunity to follow live demonstrations and workshops.
IPTE's headquarters includes a newly established automated production line where customers can experience how applications are integrated in reality.
In the near future IPTE will organise further open laser days for customers at its production facilities in France and Germany.
