The partnership will dramatically expand connector technology availability throughout the industry.

Plug-In has pioneered the use of newly developed resins that offer higher levels of hermeticity.

Coupled with a greater flexibility for users and a reduction in costs and lead times, the end product is a much more rugged component than any other similar product on the market today.

This new technology can be applied to all connector interface types and styles and also enables the manufacture of connector-less, direct cable feedthroughs which meet a high seal specification.

Stringent testing ensures that every sealed interface is subject to helium leak rate detection testing to 10e-8 mbar.l/s prior to release.

The technology is perfectly suited to all applications where a high level of sealing is critical - space simulation, plasma technology, vacuum metallisation, laser/underwater systems and so on.

In particular, it is especially suitable for thermocouple feedthroughs as it can provide a continuous unbroken cable path.
