As Managing Director and founder of Interface Components, Phil Stanway has been involved in the interconnection industry for more than 20 years having worked in the past for Suhner, AMP and, most recently, Radiall.
Joining Phil Stanway as Product Marketing Manager is Steve Jacob who, in his 15-year connector-related career, has combined product design with technical support.
At his most recent former company, Radiall, Jacob was responsible for product marketing in the UK and Ireland.
Talking at the launch of the new company, Stanway said: "Like power, interconnection is a key systems component and one that is often taken for granted at the design stage.
As a result, designers and buyers are often faced with a last minute, quick fix solution which generally ends up with a performance/price compromise".
"Steve and I have established Interface Components to eliminate that compromise by adding our experience in the connector industry to the design and production expertise available from the manufacturers we have identified in Europe and the Far East".
"Our customers will benefit from our ability to supply connectors to satisfy their price, quality and delivery expectations", he concludes.
