UK operation to support embedded tools

Embedded systems development tools specialist iSystem has set up a UK company and opened an office in Newbury, Berkshire.

Embedded systems development tools specialist iSystem has set up a UK company and opened an office in Newbury, Berkshire.

Jonathan Hector is Managing Director of iSystem in the UK and responsible for supporting the existing customers and developing new business.

In launching the new subsidiary, Helmut Kindermann, President and CEO of iSystem said, "We already have an established user base in Britain.

This new office will improve still further the quality of support that our customers can expect and allow us to build on this base".

Jonathan Hector has a depth and breadth of experience in the embedded market: not only in distribution, but with Infineon's UK Microcontroller Team, where he was responsible for developing microcontroller design business for the C166 and TriCore processors, and with Applied Microsystems Corp, where he was a European Product Specialist and later European Manager for Distribution Products.

He started his electronics career as a designer, working on OEM car radio designs for the UK and European markets.
