ITT Industries Cannon, C and K has a new series of C and K microminiature detect switches The through hole mounting DDS series switches deliver 2mm overtravel, making them ideally suited for detector applications in CD ROMs, card readers, PCB card detectors, copiers and medical applications
Designed to detect the presence of a mechanical device, these low profile switches feature small size, 6.3 by 3.3mm with a height of 8.05mm for the vertical actuation version, and a low actuation force of only 40g.
Available in upright and right angle styles, the SPST DDS contact rating is 0.1A at 30V DC, with a mechanical and electrical life of 50,000 cycles.
