The QSA series of two- and four-way switches are designed for long life, excellent tactile feedback and silent operation in a broad range of applications with low current demands of 1-50mA.

Unlike other switches on the market, which have a very noisy action, QSA devices are silent.

QSA2 and QSA4 switches feature an actuation force of 3.5+/-1N with a force delta of greater than 0.5N and a return force of 1N thus providing excellent tactile feedback.

Operational life is 100,000 operations.

Measuring 21 x 16 x 22.4mm, these surface-mount switches can operate in either the x- or y-axis.

The actuator is on a 3.5mm-diameter operating axis with a button fastener.

Maximum switching power is 0.2VA, and operating temperature range is -40 to +85C.

QSA switches cost around $1.30 in 100,000 piece range.

Other applications include navigational GPS systems, joysticks for industrial control and off-road vehicles, and home entertainment equipment.
