The new right angle C and K ELUM illuminated pushbutton switch features an LED built in its actuator, removing the need for separate LED and light pipe on the printed circuit board.

The new right angle C and K ELUM illuminated pushbutton switch from ITT Industries, Cannon features an LED built in its actuator, removing the need for separate LED and light pipe on the printed circuit board.

This robust design simplifies component integration, preventing mechanical misalignment with the panel or system casing.

Special LED colours and customised caps can be used to achieve specific visual renderings.

With a very low 6mm profile, C and K ELUM pushbutton switches are available in through-hole and surface-mount configuration.

Its self-cleaning SPDT contact withstands current ranging from 0.01 to 250mA, with DC voltage from 20mV to 50V.

Operating force is 4.5N at full actuation (5.1mm travel maximum).

The latching version (push-push) suits switching functions such as mode select and power on/off, whereas the momentary version prevails for test, reset and notification functions.

C and K ELUM switches are designed to meet the requirements set by original equipment manufacturers of telecom, industrial, medical, automotive and consumer electronics.

It is compatible with RoHS directives (lead-free) and with high-speed reflow soldering lines.

Standard price for 10,000-piece orders starts at $1.01 for a momentary through-hole version without LED and $1.49 for a latching surface-mount version with red LED.
