The Cannon PHD line of optical interconnects delivers high performance, high density and ease of maintenance.

ITT's new Cannon PHD line of optical interconnects delivers high performance, high density and ease of maintenance.

In addition, ITT's fibre optic connector system is flexible and scaleable.

Based on an industry-standard 1.25mm ceramic ferrule, the Cannon PHD system enables a higher density optical system than traditional SC, ST or MC ferrule technologies.

Further, the Cannon PHD optical core connector bodies and structured cable systems have been engineered to support mission-critical applications within data-carrying networks.

The design is highly robust and minimises the potential for operator error, further simplifying field service and repair.

The Cannon PHD system guarantees the industry's highest and most stable performance for multichannel interconnects and delivers reduced insertion loss, less channel-to-channel variance, and higher return loss.

The product's end face is GR-326 compliant.

Specific systems may be identified for panel mounting, for use on backplanes and rack and panel designs, for interface with the standard MIL-C-38999 footprint, or for applications that require exposure to outdoor and factory environments where commodity fibre optic products prove unsuitable.

Focused market sectors include telecommunications, automotive systems, commercial aircraft, datacommunications, industrial applications, medical products and military applications.
