Universal Contacts are now available in heights of 1.3, 1.8, 2.5, 3.5 and 4mm, with respective minimum pitches of 1.35, 1.25, 1.35, 1.45 and 1.45mm.
Side wings protect the active parts of the contact, preventing contact from overstressing and potential damage.
Domed contact points allow good hertz stress and low contact resistance.
Solderwell prevents solder wicking up the contact.
The x-y-z movement allows robust connection between the contact and component assembly during shock and vibration.
Universal Contacts provide a standard interface across applications and platforms and are ideal for use in numerous applications such as handsets (eg I/O connectors, battery contacts, SIM contacts), laptops and computers (eg memory sticks), home electronic devices and white goods (eg smoke detectors, alarm systems, home appliances), automotive (keyfobs), medical (CT scan equipment) and industrial (circuit breakers for GPS beacons).
Universal Contacts are fully WEEE and RoHS compliant. Request a free brochure from ITT Interconnect Solutions ...
