Corrosion resistant D-subminiature connectors operate in corrosive environments, while meeting MIL-spec requirements and JEDEC standards for RoHS compliance.

High-reliability connector specialist ITT Interconnect Solutions has created a corrosion resistant variation of its D-subminiature product range in response to customer requests for a connector that is able to operate in a highly corrosive environment, while meeting MIL-spec requirements and JEDEC standards for RoHS compliance.

By equipping its D-sub line of connectors with MIL-spec P-grade stainless steel shells and hardware to ensure stringent corrosion resistance, ITT Interconnect Solutions has achieved a robust D-sub design that finds applications in telecommunications, aerospace and marine, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries.

Intermateable with standard D-sub connectors, the corrosion-resistant versions offer high strength and withstand continuous exposure to salt spray and corrosive chemicals.

The connectors are medical and pharmaceutical grade, rated to 40A maximum current per contact, and are available with 9-50 contacts in standard sizes, and 15-78 contacts in high-density sizes.

Five shell sizes are offered.
