Ethernet/IP scanner simulated on a
standard PC
EIPScan is based on the Ethernet/IP Scanner Developers Kit (ESDK) and provides the simulation of an Ethernet/IP scanner on a standard PC.
To complement its existing Ethernet/IP software packages, Ixxat has released an Ethernet/IP scanner simulation tool EIPScan is based on the Ethernet/IP Scanner Developers Kit (ESDK) and provides the simulation of an Ethernet/IP scanner on a standard PC
The tool supports UCMM as well as Class 1 and Class 3 connected messaging (I/O and Explicit) as client and server each.
The tool enables Ethernet/IP product engineers to test and operate their own Ethernet/IP adapters based on EADK or EIPA.
An EDS file for the use of the Ethernet/IP configuration tool RSNetWorx for Ethernet/IP from Rockwell Automation is included.
EIPScan is available as an executable program for Microsoft Windows 2000 and XP.
