Anglia will carry stock of the JAE product portfolio and will focus on promoting products which are suited to the industrial and datacomms markets.
These include high-density board to board, board to wire, fine pitch, circular and I/O connectors.
Discussing the new agreement, Pete Johnson JAE's European distribution manager comments: "Anglia is a leading edge distributor of passive and active components and JAE now complements this by offering its customer base a source to a vast range of innovative connector solutions.
We see this as more than just another franchise agreement as Anglia will be seen as an extension of JAE's own direct sales and marketing activity and will play a key role in increasing JAE's overall share of the UK connector market, focusing on specific market segments.
We do not want a distributor who is just a logistics provider but an organisation who can demonstrate to its customers excellent technical knowhow, and Anglia provides this through its successful technical sales team and dedicated field applications engineering resource for JAE products", he continues.
