The new MJ04 series 2mm metric connector system from JAE complies with the IEC 1076-4-101 electrical and mechanical specification for CompactPCI interconnection.
The connectors were created for handheld and other miniaturised applications including mobile handsets, portable test equipment, medical instruments such as patient monitors and home diagnostics and satellite navigation terminals, as well as consumer products such as laptop PCs, digital cameras or PDAs.
Contact resistance below 40mohm and rated voltage of 50V DC ensure insertion performance and resilience, and mating lifetime is up to 20 cycles.
Withstand voltage is 250V AC, and insulation resistance greater than 100Mohm The FF02 series joins JAE's existing 0.5mm-pitch FPC connectors, which include the 0.9mm high FF01 with 15 to 40 contacts and the FF01R for reverse mounting.
