JAE Europe has appointed Future Electronics to handle its products throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

JAE Europe, the specialist interconnection designer and manufacturer, has extended its distribution network by appointing Future Electronics to handle its products throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Operating from over 150 offices in 35 countries, Future Electronics will provide JAE with an extensive channel to market.

Future will offer JAE Europe's full range and will target application areas including automotive, industrial, medical and instrumentation.

All JAE products are now lead-free and RoHS-compliant.

Commenting on the appointment, Peter Johnson, European Distribution Manager for JAE Europe, said: "This is a significant signing which will strengthen JAE's brand across all the major European regions and also establish a presence in countries where today we have no distribution coverage, such as Estonia, Lithuania, Turkey and South Africa".

"Future's business model fits perfectly with JAE's major growth plans for our distribution business over the next three years; our objective is to be one of their top three connector suppliers within this time frame".

"Together we see this agreement as the first step towards a Global partnership".

"Future Electronics is pleased to be partnering with JAE and we are committed to matching JAE's ambition to develop their brand across the European market".

"JAE has many innovative products that are already successful in several of our focus market areas so we are confident that this new relationship will benefit both companies strongly", added Lisa Thornton, Product Marketing Director For Non-Semiconductor Products, Future Electronics.
