JAE Europe has been selected for inclusion within the Elfa catalogue, a source of electronic components that is circulated to over 130,000 industry contacts within northern Europe.

The initial products to be included will come from JAE's range of fine pitch connectors.

The agreement with Elfa, which is headquartered in Jarfalla, Sweden and has subsidiaries in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Poland, represents a further strengthening of JAE's activity in the Nordic region.

It follows the recent appointment of Timo Hyytiainen as JAE Nordic Manager.

He is the company's first direct employee in the region although it has been represented via the distribution channel for many years.

Peter Johnson, JAE European Distribution Manager, commented: "This is the first time JAE has been represented by a catalogue distributor in the Nordic area and we are confident that Elfa, with its long history and well-developed infrastructure, will enhance our presence here".

Kenneth Olsson, Product Manager, Elfa, said: "JAE's innovative, high quality interconnection products will bring even greater choice to our customers and we look forward to a successful working relationship".
