PCB connectors increase board density
Surface mount board-to-board connectors enable board spacing down to 4.5mm in space-constrained products.
New from JAE Europe, the IL-WX series of surface mount board-to-board connectors enable designs with board spacing down to 4.5mm in space-constrained products such as precision instrumentation, office equipment and consumer medical devices The IL-WX series is a 0.8mm-pitch system, and includes connectors from six to 36 contacts

The new MJ04 series 2mm metric connector system from JAE complies with the IEC 1076-4-101 electrical and mechanical specification for CompactPCI interconnection.
The complete range includes straight socket receptacles and straight or right-angle pin headers, allowing engineers to implement parallel or right-angle board mounting for maximum design freedom.
The right-angle pin header features metallic hold-downs on both sides for high mechanical integrity in the assembled product.
Bosses are also provided on the connector underside, to facilitate correct alignment during automatic surface-mount placement.
The connectors have high electrical performance, with dielectric withstand voltage 500V AC RMS, contact resistance less than 25mohm, rated current up to 5A, and insulation resistance greater than 100Mohm.
The wide operating temperature range, from -40 to +85C, allows use in harsh environments such as outside remote installations.
