Axial fans provide high static pressure
The static blades of the G-series axial fans stop dispersion of the exhaust air-flow and focus the flow in the axial direction.
Japan Servo's standard-size G-series axial fans have been designed using digital analysis techniques intended for high-pressure, low noise applications The market trend for highly populated, compact electronic equipment has meant that the manufacturers of axial fans are now required to offer high-efficiency, quiet fans with increased cooling capability

Japan Servo has developed a complete fan and blower optimisation design system (ODS).
This fully automatic system has allowed Japan Servo to develop the new G-series range of axial fans to meet the ever-increasing demands of high static pressure applications.
30 models are available in industry standard frame sizes of 80 x 80, 92 x 92, 119 x 119 and 172 x 150mm, with 12, 24 and 48V DC brushless motors.
The overall improvement in efficiency allows a maximum static pressure of 1000Pa to be achieved for the largest fan.
The design uses the latest generation of brushless dc motors with ODS modelled impeller profiles and static blades to create a highly efficient axial fan.
The static blades stop dispersion of the exhaust air-flow and focus the flow in the axial direction.
This allows almost twice the static pressure to be easily and cost-effectively achieved when two fans are stacked.
For high-static pressure applications, diagonal flow fans are frequently used.
However, diagonal flow fans have high static pressure capability, but an air-flow which exhausts in a centrifugal direction.
This causes design problems, since it is usually preferable for the air-flow to exhaust in the axial direction.
The new G-series solves this problem by offering the high static pressure performance while maintaining the air-flow in the axial direction.
Variable speed versions of the G-series fans are also available for applications where further reductions in power consumption and noise are required.
A PWM control signal can be used to give smooth adjustment of the fan speed so as to maintain the correct amount of cooling as demanded by the application.
Output sensors for the G-series fans include alarm signal outputs in the case of fan stall, low speed detection and pulse output for speed monitoring.
Japan Servo also offers a range of high air-flow axial fans and low noise blowers.
