The low-cost Tiger range of CPU coolers are compatible with the Intel Pentium 4 processor and are priced starting at under $4 each.

JMC's compact Tiger CPU coolers consist of extruded aluminium fins that expose a large surface area to incoming airflows, generating substantial cooling power.

Tiger CPU coolers include a high-powered fan that is mounted to the top of the heatsink, offering optimal reliability and thermal performance.

"JMC's goal when designing the Tiger solution was to set up the most cost-effective method to manufacture the CPU cooler", states Jerry Johns, VP of Sales and Engineering.

"For that reason, we can supply our customers with a high-performance system solution at an extremely affordable price", he adds.

The Tiger I cooler is an all-aluminium extruded heatsink that measures 92 x 69 x 45mm, and weighs 357g.

The thermal resistance with thermal interface material applied is measured to be 0.41C/W.

The Tiger II cooler is a low-profile aluminium extruded heatsink with an aluminium copper insert that measures 92 x 78.4 x 43mm, and weighs 362g.

The thermal resistance with thermal interface material applied is measured to be 0.43C/W.

Both Tiger coolers are mounted with a 70 x 15mm DC fan running at 4300rev/min, available with a sleeve bearing, sleeve/ball bearing, or a dual ball bearing.

Tiger coolers are available now to OEM and distribution customers and range in price from below $4.00 to $7.50 depending on cooler model, fan features, thermal interface material and quantities ordered.
