TTPCom is number 150 for JTAG Technologies
Boundary-scan specialist JTAG Technologies is celebrating the signing of its 150th user agreement.
Boundary-scan specialist JTAG Technologies has signed its 150th user agreement with TTPCom, the leading independent supplier of digital wireless technology.
Under the terms of the agreement, TTPCom's modules division will be using JTAG's advanced boundary-scan (IEEE1149.1) test and in-system programming tools.
Coinciding with its 10th year of trading in the UK, JTAG Technologies will supply systems to TTPCom's modules division for both test development and production testing of new "Edge" module designs.
James Stanbridge, who opened the UK office in 1995, states: "We have covered a lot of ground over the last ten years and have a large installed base of users covering all industry areas".
"However telecomms customers, who experience perennial problems testing and programming within minute, highly integrated designs, have always been traditional users".
"We are delighted that TTPCom has chosen JTAG Technologies and brought our active users to 150 in UK and Ireland".
Jonathan Blee, Test Development Manager at TTPCom adds: "Our module designs have been developed to deliver highly complex technology in an extremely compact format, which makes testing them a challenging task".
"JTAG Technologies' tools, which have long been the 'de facto' standard in boundary-scan testing and Flash programming, will help us ensure that these module designs are built to the highest possible quality".
"We have seen yields of 99.8%, but we expect that boundary scan testing will improve on that plus it will give us pin level diagnostics".
"In addition, their local expertise and worldwide market presence are especially important to us as we support our licensees' manufacturing operations from Europe to North America and the Far East".
"To be their 150th UK customer is very reassuring".
