The latest release of WinDriver from Jungo Software Technologies includes USB device driver development on Windows NT 4.0.

The latest release of WinDriver from Jungo Software Technologies includes USB device driver development on Windows NT 4.0.

WinDriver is a driver development and hardware access toolkit that includes a graphical development environment, APIs, samples, diagnostic tools and debug utilities, enabling quick development of high performance drivers and applications for peripheral USB devices.

The WinDriver 5.1 toolkit integrates Jungo's small footprint, high quality USB host stack to provide standard USB connectivity on Windows NT 4.0 (which does not natively support USB).

Jungo's USB host stack, compliant with the USB 1.1 specification, supports full speed and low speed, control, bulk, interrupt and isochronous data transfers.

USB 2.0 support is planned for upcoming WinDriver versions.

WinDriver's cross-platform capabilities allow USB drivers developed using WinDriver to be ported to any of the supported operating systems - Windows 98, Me, NT 4.0, 2000 and XP - without code modification.

A free full featured, 30 day evaluation version of WinDriver 5.1 is available for download from the Jungo website.
