The latest release of WinDriver from Jungo Software Technologies includes USB device driver development on Windows NT 4.0.
PLX's USB RDKs are complete development solutions - hardware, software and source code - that help engineers create USB 2.0 device firmware, host drivers and applications.
The kits provide engineers with a stable hardware and software platform for developing firmware for PLX's USB peripheral controllers, such as the NET2272 and NET2280.
These firmware, drivers and applications often can be fully developed and tested before a developer's hardware is complete, meaning quicker development time and faster time to market.
"PLX and Jungo have a long and productive history of working together; Jungo's firmware has been incorporated into development tools for several PLX PCI products", said Adam Chen, Senior Product Marketing Manager at PLX.
"We're pleased that this working relationship is now being extended to the PLX NetChip line of industry-leading USB 2.0 controllers and the development tools for them".
"Developers will realise a wealth of benefits from the blend of PLX and Jungo expertise".
The fully functional 30-day evaluation version of WinDriver is included in PLX's NET2272 and NET2280 RDKs.
It is also available for download from Jungo's website.
Jungo's driver development tools may be purchased from Jungo directly, or via one of Jungo's worldwide resellers.
Jungo will exhibit its embedded USB software solutions and driver development tools at the Embedded World 2005 show in Nurnberg, Germany, from 22nd to 24th February 2005 in Hall 11 on Booth 404.
