WinDriver and KernelDriver version 5.0 are the new generation of driver development tools from Jungo, offering hardware access and driver code generation capabilities through a rich API.
Driver development raises support for USB 2.0
Jungo Software Technologies has released version 5.04 of its driver development toolkits - WinDriver, KernelDriver and Hardware Debugger.
Jungo's OpenRG software allows CPE manufacturers to deploy devices that can interoperate with network-based remote CPE management solutions, such as SupportSoft ServiceGateway, to more reliably configure, provision and manage their equipment.
This enables telcos to maintain efficiency in cost of triple play service deployment and customer satisfaction with CPE devices using Jungo software.
TR-069 provides the necessary framework for efficient and scalable deployment of value added services on top of a DSL broadband infrastructure, including combined delivery of IP-based voice, video and data services, known within the industry as the "triple play".

Jungo and SupportSoft have validated that Jungo's software and SupportSoft ServiceGateway software interoperate in accordance with the DSL Forum TR-069 specification.
Jungo's OpenRG residential gateway software platform is being deployed on a variety of CPE devices from companies such as Linksys, Belkin and others.
"We have seen significant demand from our OpenRG software platform customers for TR-069 based CPE auto-configuration and remote management capabilities, which has become a mandatory requirement by the world leading telcos", said Gilad Brand, Jungo's Director of Product Management.
"The Jungo and SupportSoft combination enables CPE manufacturers to bring to market a carrier grade TR-069 solution that paves the way for advanced digital voice, video and data services".
The SupportSoft Digital 360 Interoperability Lab was launched last year to help CPE hardware and software vendors perform independent compatibility testing with DSL Forum technical specification standards.
The DSL Forum is recognised as the leading telecommunications industry consortium dedicated to developing the full potential of DSL broadband.
Its membership includes 200 leading service providers, equipment manufacturers and other interested parties worldwide - all committed to developing common standards and embracing new applications to meet the needs of the next generation of multi-media services for DSL customers.
"Jungo's completion of SupportSoft's Digital 360-degree Interoperability Lab testing process for their software is significant because it is used on such a wide variety of CPE devices", said Richard Caballero, Director of Product Management at SupportSoft.
"Jungo's compliance with TR-069 means that CPE manufacturers can be assured that their devices can be remotely managed by SupportSoft ServiceGateway and thus meet an important service provider requirement for triple play residential gateways".
