Video magnification system helps inspection
The SuperVision system from Kaisertech is a high-resolution video magnification unit that enables a number of people to view an enlarged image of a component at the same time.
The SuperVision system from Kaisertech is a high-resolution video magnification unit that enables a number of people to view an enlarged image of a component at the same time, enhancing inspection tasks, quality assurance, documentation, analysis and training when working with electronic components and printed circuits in particular.
Its high-resolution colour video display helps to reduce eyestrain and fatigue during extended use and a wide range of magnification is possible with the help of soft-touch controls; manual focus is also provided.
With a 14in monitor magnification is 6x to 140x and with a 17in monitor 7x to 180x, and magnification levels are momentarily displayed in the corner of the screen.
Images can be freeze-framed so that operator can remove a component while its image is retained in memory.
Also digital image capturing is possible with a video card.
The x-y-z positioning table runs on ball-bearings for smoothness and components up to 38mm high can be observed in the standard base unit while items up to 140mm high can be viewed in the high base unit.
Four viewing modes are available - full colour high contrast inspection mode, full colour photo mode, black and white and reverse image.
These modes provide the ability to see certain characteristics that may not be visible under simple optical inspection.
An optional oblique angle viewer provides quick conversion from top-down view to angled view.
