Electronic production equipment specialist Kaisertech now has distribution rights for the latest Olympus product SolView and its ancillary equipment.
SolView will make its UK debut on the Kaisertech stand at Nepcon on the 26th and 27th May in Brighton.
The new Olympus SolView, for the first time, allows development, production and QA engineers to quickly and easily evaluate a printed circuit board without removing it from the line.
SolView is designed to be used at board level to capture the solder bond formation with its sophisticated optical lens system.
It allows inspection beneath semiconductor devices at an entrance pupil lens height of just 0.3mm and, combined with its wide field of view, allows immediate assessment of a board's condition.
SolView is available in either a direct or lateral viewing configuration.
SolView-00 is designed for head-on observation to allow viewing from a variety of angles.
SolView-90 can be placed beside components, with integral illumination provided by bright, white light emitting diodes at the end of the probe.
Although SolView is a complete working system, accessories are available such as: a convenient laboratory bench stand; Olympus OmniStage, a specially developed x-y-z stage with a multidirectional platform; CCTV cameras; Olympus Camedia digital cameras; and i-Save, an image capture and storage device.
