Budget pricing for manual pick and place
system

The Dima Fineline FP-700 is a manual pick and place system with integrated dispense unit and a hot air pencil that can handle boards to 280 x 220mm and components to 25 x 25mm.

The Dima Fineline FP-700 is a manual pick and place system with integrated dispense unit and a hot air pencil that can handle boards to 280 x 220mm and components to 25 x 25mm at speeds up to 800 components per hour Its x-y guiding system allows exact positioning of the pick and place head, which also ensures that even difficult components can be picked just by touching them

The unit also has a rotating PCB holder, an armrest, a carousel, a carousel cover and an adaptor for tape or stick feeders.

The pick and place head movement is said to be extremely light and its design ensures that the operator's hand is not in an uncomfortable position.

The adjustable vacuum is automatically switched on and off by touching the component with the nozzle.

The pick and place nozzles can be changed without tools and components can be rotated 360 degrees.

For a quick changeover, the PCB is supported by a series of magnetic blocks.

The integrated dispensing unit handles solder cream, SMD adhesive, solder-mask and several other products.

A digital timer combined with air pressure regulation guarantees repeatable dot size.

For low viscosity liquids the dispensing unit has a barrel vacuum to avoid leaking.

There is also an automatic repeat function.

The hot air pencil is ideal for soldering prototype PCBs and for removing or soldering single components for repair purposes.

This makes the FP-700 an ideal base to create a rework station.

The hot air pencil can be regulated on airflow and temperature so that is can be used as a soldering iron or for working with heat shrink tube.

A carrousel has space for 45 bins and normally the unit is supplied with 25 one-compartment CMOS bins and 25 two-compartment CMOS bins but other combinations are possible.

Up to 90 different components can be stored in one carrousel.

Options include feeders, camera systems and monitors, manual stencil printers and low-cost reflow ovens complement the product. Request a free brochure from Kaisertech ...
