Kaisertech can now supply the SolderStar Neptune-12 thermal profiling unit for reflow ovens to enable optimum settings to be achieved.

Particularly relevant to meet the demands of lead free thermal profiling, combined with BDA and uBGA packages, the Neptune-12 allows profiling of up to 12 locations on a test PCB.

The product features a quick connection system called Smartlink that allows users to quickly and easily construct test platforms.

Designed for permanent connection to the test PCB, the system simplifies thermocouple attachment, reduces test jig damage and eliminates channel mix-up problems.

Prior computer setup is not required because Smartlink contains all the information required for the profile capture to be performed.

Once data have been captured the test harness can be quickly disconnected from the data logger for downloading to a PC.

Captured profile data include a test ID that allows the computer software package to automatically store test information in its profile database, providing a complete history for each product.
