Extraction systems cope with lead-free fumes
Select automatic fume extraction systems feature larger filters to cope with the demands of lead-free processing using reflow ovens and wave solder machines.
Select automatic fume extraction systems feature larger filters to cope with the demands of lead-free processing using reflow ovens and wave solder machines.
The three-model range features units for use with small, medium, large or multiple soldering systems and are ideal for use with the company's Dima reflow ovens.
Particulates in fumes can triple with lead-free solder because of the higher temperatures necessary to achieve melting point and, furthermore, the size of these particles is smaller.
Therefore to cope with this the Select systems each have a two-stage prefilter cartridge with a 20m2 surface area.
In addition automatic airflow control ensures that set extraction rates are maintained throughout the working life of the filters.
Smallest unit is the 400 with an airflow of 400m3/h, followed by the 1500 with an airflow of 1500m3/h and the largest is the 4000 with an airflow of 4000m3/h.
Corrosion resistant carcases and either zinc coated or stainless steel cases are standard, and operating sound levels can be lower that 60dB, depending on flow rated selected.
