The Vi-3K2 PCB AOI system determines the presence and absence of components, confirms their value and polarity, checks solder joints and bridges and provides feedback to ensure placement accuracy.

The Vi-3K2 PCB automatic optical inspection system from Kaisertech determines the presence and absence of components, confirms their value and polarity, checks solder joints and bridges and provides feedback to ensure placement accuracy.

The unit performs 100% inspection of the boards being assembled and will work with high output production lines.

Suitable for integration at multiple locations in a PCB assembly line the system's software has a graphical user interface.

It can create and modify test files, access the image library and apply or modify the remedial tools.

In addition it provides access during production and also has a maintenance mode.

The vision system uses a custom designed 1600 x 1200 pixel digital camera with true telecentric lens to give high resolution and a large field of view.

Axial and peripheral programmable lighting provides green, white and blue illumination.

A one-piece composite granite moulding is used for frame, axis support and body to provide rigidity.

When combined with linear motor drives and precision optical encoders, this ensures high-speed operation, with accuracy and repeatability.

Optional repair stations, either online or offline, can be linked to the V1-3k2 to enable defects to be corrected.
