Test chambers simulate operational environments

A Kaisertech product story
Edited by the Electronicstalk editorial team Feb 10, 2006

The Binder range of environmental test chambers can be used to test materials, components and assemblies by simulating the operational environments encountered by components and systems.

Kaisertech has been appointed electronics industry distributor for Binder environmental test chambers.

This new range complements existing test systems offered by Kaisertech, which include X-ray and AOI.

The range offers chambers for material, component or assemblies testing to simulate the operational environments encountered by components and systems.

For instance the MK cold/heat test chambers are suitable for most of the tasks in material testing or for thermal stress, stability and durability tests.

Electronic compressor control ensures high accuracies over the entire temperature of -40 to +180C.

Other features include colour screen program control, condensation protection for test materials and a large, heated viewing window.

The MKT series develops technically on the MK series and provides temperatures down to -70C The KBF climatic chamber has been developed to provide standard-compliant simulation of all climatic conditions under a constant atmosphere.

This also includes carrying out all long-duration storage for durability and stability tests according to the internationally valid EN standards and the pharmaceutical ICH guidelines (CPMP/ICH/380/95/Q1A and Q1B).

Its microprocessor-controlled humidification and dehumidification system guarantees a maximum humidity range of 10-90% RH with humidity accuracies up to +/-1.5% RH.

A selection of these units will feature on Kaisertech's Nepcon 2006 stand.
