Conformal coatings programmed offline
Software allows conformal coating systems to be programmed offline using a photographic image of the board to be coated.
New software provides fully offline programming of Dima HC conformal coating systems The standard integrated camera of the HC series coating and dispensing machines can already be used for programming but has prevented the operator having adequate access to find the correct coating positions

Flux, bond and test small LCDs with one unit
MicroJoin's new Model 5200 PDI Bonder efficiently integrates the fluxing, bonding and testing processes for small LCD displays within a single, cost-effective assembly system
Now, by taking a picture of a board that needs to be coated and opening this picture in the Hybrid Coater software, offline programming of boards can be achieved.
Using fiducials to recognise the position of a board it is now possible to do the same thing offline by using the fiducials of the board's picture.
Because the picture is exactly sized and positioned, a coating program can be created exactly as if the machine itself was being used.
The main advantage is that while the machine is coating boards a new board can be programmed offline at the same time.
The HC units are suitable for prototypes and small runs and for larger runs of complicated products.
They can be used in combination with a variety of dispensing or spray valves to draw lines, apply dam and fill applications or spray conformal coating over a 600 x 600mm work area.
The HC-100 is a three-axis system, whereas the HC-200 has four axes.
Each can handle up to four different tools and these can include dispense valves, spray valves grippers and other units. Request a free brochure from Kaisertech ...
