Kane Computing has signed a product resale agreement with D.SignT to sell its DSP modules and software in the UK.

Kane Computing has signed a product resale agreement with D.SignT to sell its DSP modules and software in the UK.

D.SignT manufacture a range of Texas Instruments and Analog Devices DSP modules (D.Modules) for development and embedded applications.

These are supported with excellent development software and a range of peripheral daughter boards.

A recently announced product is the D.Module VC33, which incorporates a TMS320VC33 120/150MHz 32bit floating point DSP, external SRAM and Flash memory, CPLD for I/O expansion, plus a number of different external communication interfaces.

Peripheral daughter boards include memory expansion modules, ADC/DAC modules, CANbus interface and an Ethernet network daughterboard.

Software development support packages include D.Module BIOS, with programming support for all board resources, ie initialisation, communication routines, Flash programming algorithms, plus CPLD setup utility and library.

Kane Computing also offer a complete development package with DSP development tools (compilers, debuggers and emulators).

Prices for a D.Module VC33 with development software package start at around GBP 800, with 100-off board prices below GBP 250 each.
