The LCP-1500 pnx1500 TriMedia/Nexperia PCI card from Momentum Data Systems (MDS) is now shipping from stock at Kane Computing The LCP-1500 is a PCI based hardware platform for the development of pnx1500 algorithms where the PC is used as the I/O subsystem during development

The LCP-1500 supports video capture in a variety of formats, making it ideal as a front end compressor for PC based PVR and security applications.

Its built-in Ethernet offers flexibility for streaming media applications where processing needs to be offloaded from the host CPU.

For applications needing video or analogue audio output a daughtercard can be added.

The card is also available with the Philips MPTK/NDK tools for compilation and debugging.

The main features of the LCP-1500 include CVBS, S-video, and component video input with ability to expand to eight CVBS inputs, two-channel analogue audio in, S/P DIF input digital audio, Ethernet with optional Fusion or TargetTCP protocol suite (which allows development of embedded applications directly from a PC), 64Mbyte of 200MHz DDR memory (DDR400), controlled impedance expansion connector for daughtercard with custom A/V input or output, compatible with cards developed for MDS IREF (pnx1300).

Products include the LCP-1500-DK-FULL, which includes PCI-1500 board, Philips Media Processor Tool Kit (MPTK), accessories, user manual and software, the LCP-1500-KIT without the MPTK, the LC-1500-BO, board only and the TMVDE-AVOUT-BO, A/V output daughtercard.
