A demo of encode MPEG-4 ASP full D1 video and AAC audio together with streaming capabilities is available now.
The TMS320C64x DSPs running at 1GHz will benefit to all Ateme catalogue products based on it.
Finally, the 1GHz DSP is expected to allow Ateme to run more complex algorithms such as the H.264/AVC codec, now under development at Ateme and of prime importance for the streaming servers and IPTV industry.
The new 1GHz DSP, running Ateme codecs, widens horizons to new high-end vendor applications hosting a single DSP and enables manufacturers to design new lines of products as in broadcasting head-end, medical imaging and other video domains with processing power demanding infrastructures.
