Kane Computing in partnership with Ateme and Texas Instruments is offering complete DSP video compression kits with a 60% discount compared with the retail price.

Kits include DSP board with C6416, 600MHz DSP, MPEG4 encoder library, tutorials and Texas Instruments Code Composer Studio.

In addition to the PCI version, there is a stand-alone version with power supply and Ethernet daughterboard and stack.

Kane Computing also offers a wide range of compatible JTAG emulators.

Emphasis is placed on the training material and documentation which includes product documentation (user manual), programmers guide, product tutorial, sample project and application (in C Source code) and utilities for encoding and playing video files.
