DSP development runs via serial interfaces
Daughtercards provide a quick and easy way of adding two independent serial ports to the Spectrum Digital F2812 eZdsp development system.
Available now from Kane Computing in its role as UK representative for Link Research is the LR-F2812COM series of dual serial port daughtercards for the Spectrum Digital F2812 eZdsp DSP board.
The Model LR-F2812COM series of daughtercards provide a quick and easy way of adding two independent serial ports to the Spectrum Digital F2812 eZdsp development system.
Two basic versions are available: a standard RS232 version and a fibre optic version for true galvanic isolation applications.
The ports operate at speeds of up to 921.6Kbit/s, and are connected with female DB9s.
This allows direct connection to a PC using a straight-through cable.
The product comes complete with a 1.8m RS232 cable (the fibre optic version includes two 0.9m lengths of fibre), a set of connectors to be soldered into the eZdsp board, and a wide range of CCS software demonstration projects.
Other Link products from Kane include the LR-F2812COM-2 RS232 to fibre stand-alone convertor board.
