Kaparel has moved into a new 2000m2 facility in Waterloo, Ontario.

Kaparel has moved into a new 2000m2 facility in Waterloo, Ontario.

This new building is the world headquarters and production facility for Kaparel Corp.

Kaparel President and CEO, Ben Robitaille, stated, "The new facility was leased to meet the growing needs of the company, and the growth in this market and it (the building) includes capability to add an additional 1500m2 expansion, if need be.

" Robitaille continued to say that "Kaparel has seen tremendous growth since our inception in 1996, and has quickly gained market share by offering a unique service in CompactPCI backplane hardware and software solutions".

"We are focused on this core business and can provide fast time to market for the large telecom OEMs.

This is important in the current economic climate, as we can go from concept to production in six to eight weeks.

Although the global converging communications market is currently in a downturn, we are seeing a lot of new designs from the OEMs for new communications networking equipment and expect growth will pick up in the fourth quarter of 2001".
