Dispersion volume phase gratings are efficient
Kaiser Optical Systems has introduced the UltraSpec HT-940 high dispersion volume phase grating for telecommunications and other applications.
The HT process will provide customers with an unmatched combination of high diffraction efficiency, high dispersion, low polarisation dependent loss (PDL), and broad spectral bandwidth.
The HT process gratings will enable telecomms customers to design more compact, efficient and better performing systems than ever before.
These gratings have immediate applicability for reconfigurable add-drop multiplexers (ROADMs) and wavelength selective switches as well as for mux/demuxes, optical spectrum analysers, optical channel monitors and tunable lasers.
HT gratings are available in custom made form factors and dispersions and can be designed to each customer's exact application with no large NRE charges.
