Southampton-based Kenda Electronic Systems has appointed Richard Strachan as technical sales executive.

Southampton-based Kenda Electronic Systems, the supplier of special computer systems and data-acquisition products, has appointed Richard Strachan as technical sales executive He joins the company from Blue Chip of Poole, where he spent 2 years in a role combining technical sales and software development

In his new position, Strachan will promote the Kenda Group's data-entry bureau service, as well as handling sales and development of the company's range of software products for the processing of electronic data.

Foremost among these is the Teleform package, which is primarily used in applications such as Internet-based surveys.

With his strong background in multimedia communications, Strachan will also be responsible for the ongoing development of the group's website.
