New from Kingston Technology are HyperX DDR2 750MHz (PC2-6000) memory modules.

Shipping immediately in limited quantities, Kingston Technology will offer HyperX DDR2 modules tested to run at PC2-6000.

These new HyperX DDR2 unbuffered DIMMs are available in capacities up to 1Gbyte to support the latest generation of computer platforms.

Compared with DDR, the Kingston Technology HyperX DDR2 PC2-6000 provides higher data bandwidths, lower power consumption by about 50%, and enhanced thermal performance.

"Kingston Technology is very excited to bring the next evolution of HyperX DDR2 memory to the market", said Thomas Marschner, Vice President, Sales and Marketing Europe, Kingston Technology.

"Like all HyperX products, the new 750MHz module was designed and qualified by careful selection of the best components, then assembled and tested for ultimate performance".

"Kingston Technology's engineering lab was able to reach an unprecedented 866MHz with these new modules", added Marschner.

The Kingston Technology HyperX PC2-6000 modules have been tested to run at low latency timings of 4-4-4-12-1.

Actual speeds reached will depend on system configuration.
