Chinese output expands on time
Kingston Technology Electronics Co is opening on time and within budget in China, increasing Kingston Technology's China output to 5 million memory modules per month.

Additional global growth is planned: Kingston Technology facilities in the USA and Taiwan will be expanding; manufacturing will continue in Malaysia.
Equipped with the most advanced SMT assembly lines and superior testing equipment, Kingston Technology Electronics Co's new plant is located in Shanghai's Pudong "Silicon Harbour", China's bustling centre for high-tech business operations.
Kingston Technology relocated from its original 4600m2 plant to the nearby facility which is approximately 23,000m2 and includes an option for an additional 14,000m2 available for future expansion.
Construction of the new plant began in January 2004.
Kingston Technology's significant growth rate over the past several years prompted the need for additional capacity in growing markets.
The surge in the ValueRAM product line, targeted at the white-box market, has been a driving force behind Kingston Technology's increase in module demand.
Like many global high-tech companies, Kingston Technology realised the opportunity in supporting China's growing market and began cultivating production capabilities to support future memory product demand.
