Kingston Technology has signed a partnership deal with Microtronica to increase sales of ValueRAM desktop and notebook memory within the UK.

Kingston Technology has signed a partnership deal with Microtronica, a leading European distributor of PC and sever components, to increase sales of ValueRAM desktop and notebook memory within the UK.

The UK distribution agreement is a natural progression from the highly successful partnership already in place across Europe, where sales of ValueRAM have risen by over 49% in the last year alone.

Ann Keefe, Head of UK and Ireland Sales, Kingston Technology commented: "Kingston has enjoyed a close and highly profitable working relationship with Microtronica for some years in Europe".

"The success of our relationship is a mutual desire to offer the highest quality product, unrivaled reliability and outstanding customer care".

Keefe continues: "We felt confident that Microtronica could replicate the success achieved in Europe without compromising on the reputation we have built for the ValueRAM brand, as the most reliable and cost effective solution in the market today".

Les Billing, Managing Director at Microtronica commented: "We are delighted to have signed this agreement with Kingston Technology".

"The quality of the products combined with our market knowledge is sure to create a long standing partnership with the aim of meeting the needs of businesses in an ever changing marketplace".

The partnership with Microtronica is part of a wider strategy to meet the huge increase in demand for ValueRAM and memory products from both UK and global business.

This strategy sees Kingston Technology opening a new manufacturing facility in Shanghai, which will increase module output in China from 1.5 million to 5 million modules per month offering more flexible lead times to industry.

All modules are 100% tested both internally and through the Advanced Validation Labs (AVL), ensuring that modules comply with JEDEC specification, which has helped to make Kingston Technology's ValueRAM the choice of leading PC and notebook manufacturers.
