Hinojosa takes charge of tantalum
Conrado Hinojosa has been named Director of Tantalum Operations, reporting directly to Kemet Vice President of Global Manufacturing Rick Rickenbach.
Conrado Hinojosa has been named Director of Tantalum Operations, reporting directly to Kemet Vice President of Global Manufacturing Rick Rickenbach In this capacity, Hinojosa's responsibilities will include supervising all tantalum surface mount and leaded product manufacturing operations in the USA and Mexico, including the introduction of new products in Simpsonville's advanced manufacturing facility and the high volume production of low cost commodity products in Matamoros and Victoria

Hinojosa has been with Kemet for five years and has held organisational leadership roles in the company, most recently serving as Director of Operations in Matamoros.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara (UAG), a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Instituto Technologico y Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), and a certification in business management for executives from the Instituto Panamericano de Alta Direccion de Empresa (IPADE).
"Conrado's experience in Kemet's manufacturing processes and previous leadership roles make him a valuable asset to Kemet's strategy", said Chief Executive Officer Dr Jeffrey A Graves.
"In his new role, he will drive our strategic initiative to be the undisputed number one leader in tantalum technology and reinforce our position as the 'easy-to-buy-from company'".
