Kemet is continuing to broaden and enhance its ceramic portfolio with the introduction of several new ceramic surface mount offerings.

Kemet is continuing to broaden and enhance its ceramic portfolio with the introduction of several new ceramic surface mount offerings, including extended capacitance values in 0603, 0805 and 1206 EIA case sizes.

These components are designed to provide circuit functions such as decoupling and output filtering to the computer, power supply, and automotive market segments.

Newest capacitance values are available in the X7R dielectric and in tolerances J (+/-5%), K (+/-10%) and M (+/-20%).

"Kemet is excited to announce the addition of these extended capacitance values to our product offering", said Travis Ashburn, Technical Product Manager.

"This release marks the beginning of efforts to expand our ceramic product portfolio in 2005".

"Kemet's innovative high-performance solutions will fulfill ever-increasing customer requirements in our 'easy-to-buy-from' tradition".

The operating temperature range of these capacitors is between -55 and +125C, with zero bias capacitance shift limited to +/-15% over those ranges.

Components are suitable for reflow and wave soldering.

All parts are environmentally friendly, in compliance with the RoHS legislation.
