More capacitance for surface-mount devices

Kemet Corp has added new high capacitance offerings to its X5R ceramic surface mount portfolio.

Kemet Corp has added new high capacitance offerings to its X5R ceramic surface mount portfolio.

The latest releases offer capacitance ranges from 0.12 to 1.0uF in the 0402 case sise at a rated voltage of 6.3V.

These miniaturised components provide circuit functions such as decoupling and output filtering to cellular phones and other portable electronic devices, such as PDAs and DSCs.

Newest capacitance values are available in the X5R dielectric and in K (+/-10%) and M (+/-20%) tolerances.

All parts are environmentally friendly, in compliance with RoHS legislation.
