Low-profile surface mount tantalum chip capacitors offer industry leading combinations of low-ESR high-capacitance high-voltage performance parts.

Kemet has expanded its range of low-profile surface mount tantalum chip capacitors with the addition of new parts to its T520 and T530 series.

The move strengthens Kemet's reputation for offering industry leading combinations of low-ESR high-capacitance high-voltage performance parts.

The T520 series of organic polymer cathode capacitors benefits from the addition of six new C case size part numbers.

These devices are designed to satisfy the needs of power supply designers who need to incorporate high capacitance components into circuits where space is limited and using parts with the smallest possible footprint is critical.

The ultralow ESR, multiple anode, T530 series, sees the addition of a new 680uF device with a voltage rating of 6.3V.

This is available with either a 10 or 18mohm ESR rating.

The new parts provide engineers with ultralow ESR and maximum capacitance retention at higher frequencies.

All of the new devices are fully compatible with increased reflow temperatures (up to 260C peak), plus other processes and parameters associated with lead-free profiles.
